Short People

Obama's White House said he wasn't "bowing" to the Saudi King Abdullah. Oh no, the King as shorter than he was so he had to bend over to get down to grab his hands. They said he used two hands also. Guess they didn't look at the video or the photo before they came up with that crack-pot excuse. We included this in fun only because of the "Short People" video. There's really nothing funny about an American President choosing to bow down to the King of any nation, much less to Saudi King Abdullah.

Obama Bowing

Here's the deal... some say that it's perfectly OK to be diplomatic and bow. However, did anyone note that King Abdullah didn't bow in return? One bow to a King denotes servitude, admiration, respect, and implies the one you're bowing to is above you. If the King returns the bow, then it indicates equality.

If you'll watch below you'll see that the Saudi King reached out to shake hands with Obama. Our President grabs the hand, with ONE hand, not two as the White House said, and then bows.

After the bow he reaches up with his other hand and grasps the King's hand. Another familiar indication of respect and, well, caring. When someone does the one hand shake, then does the two hand grasp, it's usually 'cause you really like them. You're going the extra step to show you care.... of course, the bow kinda made that statement, didn't it?
